Eligibility, terms & claims
Who and what qualifies
Applies to the original retail customer and original vehicle using passenger-car tires for personal transportation. Commercial/fleet, taxi/rideshare/delivery, agricultural, trailer, RV, motorcycle, LT-designated tire and off-road/competition applications are excluded from this passenger program. Free eligible in-shop flat repairs do not require an On-Site tire purchase.
Workmanship coverage and remedy
Coverage lasts 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first, from the invoiced service date and mileage. It covers faults caused by our tire mounting, balancing, installation or puncture-repair work. We correct covered faults at no charge, including required labor and parts. If a tire damaged by our work cannot be safely corrected, we replace it with the same or a comparable tire. Covered corrections are completed within a reasonable time.
Safe flat-repair requirements
Repairs require internal inspection and compliance with tire-maker/industry procedures. Qualifying punctures are in the repairable tread area and no larger than 1/4 inch (6 mm). Shoulder/sidewall damage, unsafe tires, improper prior repairs and tread at 2/32 inch or less are not eligible. New tires, valves, TPMS parts and unrelated work are extra charges unless covered by our workmanship warranty.
Two-year tire-care benefit
Runs 24 months from the invoiced purchase of four new passenger tires from On-Site. Covers normal rotation of mounted assemblies at the maker's recommended interval when fitment permits, plus pressure and tread checks. A tire's benefit ends if it is replaced, retired or worn to 2/32 inch or less. Seasonal changeovers, storage, alignment and rebalancing unrelated to our workmanship are not included.
What this program does not cover
Workmanship coverage excludes normal wear and damage caused by new road hazards, impact, bent wheels, unrelated vehicle faults, improper inflation, overloading, misuse, neglect or others' faulty work. No road-hazard replacement, satisfaction exchange, towing or nationwide reimbursement network is included. Tire-manufacturer warranties are separate; eligibility, remedies and charges follow their terms.
How to request service
Call/text (208) 435-7389 during the coverage period. Have your invoice and current mileage; we can help find our records. We arrange inspection and disclose charges outside coverage before work. Do not drive on a tire you believe is unsafe; call to discuss safe arrangements. Contact us before authorizing non-emergency warranty work elsewhere. Third-party charges are covered only if we agree in advance, subject to your legal rights.
Customer care and mobile visits
Maintain correct inflation and follow maker maintenance guidance. Service elsewhere does not, by itself, void coverage. Free care is in-shop only. Mobile travel rates are on page 1; off-site labor and extra travel are quoted before booking. Covered corrections are free, with applicable trip charges waived in our normal service area. Call first for covered service outside that area.

Passenger Tire Warranty Q&A
Real situations. Clear answers. Know what is covered before you need it.
This guide explains On-Site Tire & Auto's Passenger Tire Care & Limited Warranty, version 1.0. Coverage is for eligible passenger-car tires used for personal transportation. Examples assume an eligible customer, vehicle and tire unless the question says otherwise. The warranty issued with your invoice provides the full terms; this Q&A does not add or remove coverage or limit your legal rights.
01Eligibility & coverage periods
Start with the vehicle, tire, customer and invoice.
01.What do I actually get with this program?
Four separate benefits: correction of our covered tire workmanship for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first; free eligible in-shop flat repairs; 24 months of in-shop tire care with four new passenger tires bought from us; and help with manufacturer warranty claims. It is not road-hazard replacement insurance.
02.Does this cover my car, SUV, crossover or pickup?
It can, if the vehicle uses eligible passenger-car tires for personal transportation. The vehicle's appearance alone does not decide eligibility. We check the tire designation and use. LT-designated tires and commercial applications are excluded from this passenger program.
03.My pickup is only for personal use, but its tires say LT. Does it qualify?
No under this passenger program. LT-designated tires are excluded even on a personally owned vehicle. Ask us about the applicable service and tire-manufacturer terms; this passenger warranty does not automatically apply.
04.What if I commute to work, drive for a delivery app or use a company vehicle?
Ordinary commuting in a personal vehicle is personal transportation. Fleet, commercial, taxi, rideshare and delivery use are excluded, even if the tires are passenger tires. Agricultural, trailer, RV, motorcycle and off-road/competition applications are also excluded. Tell us about mixed use before assuming coverage.
05.Can I transfer the warranty when I sell the car or move the tires to another vehicle?
No. The workmanship warranty and purchased-tire care benefit apply to the original customer and original vehicle. They do not transfer. A later owner may still qualify independently for an eligible free in-shop flat repair, because that benefit does not require buying tires from On-Site.
06.How does 12 months or 12,000 miles work in real life?
Whichever comes first ends the workmanship period. If service starts at 50,000 miles, the mileage limit is 62,000 miles. At eight months and 13,000 miles after service, it has ended. At 13 months and only 5,000 miles after service, it has also ended.
07.Does buying four tires give me a two-year warranty on everything?
No. The 24-month benefit covers eligible in-shop rotations, pressure checks and tread checks. Our workmanship period remains 12 months or 12,000 miles. Tire-manufacturer coverage follows its own terms, and a qualifying flat repair is a separate in-shop benefit.
02Free flat repairs: the everyday cases
A free repair requires a tire that can be repaired safely.
08.I bought my tires somewhere else. Will you still fix a nail puncture for free?
Yes, if the tire and its use qualify and inspection confirms a safe repair. Bring it to our shop. You do not need an On-Site tire-purchase receipt for this benefit. Replacement tires, mobile service and unrelated parts or repairs are not included.
09.I bought a tire yesterday and picked up a nail today. Do I get a new tire?
An eligible in-shop puncture repair is free. A new tire is not automatically free, even one day after purchase. If the new road damage makes the tire unrepairable, replacement is not covered by this program. Any separate manufacturer coverage must be checked.
10.Does free repair really include taking the tire off and balancing it afterward?
Yes. A qualifying in-shop repair includes the normal removal, internal inspection, repair, remounting and balancing needed for that repair. New valves, TPMS parts, replacement tires and unrelated work are extra unless our workmanship coverage applies. We explain extra charges before work.
11.The nail is near the shoulder or in the sidewall. Can you just patch it?
No. Our repair benefit does not include shoulder or sidewall damage. A small hole in an unsafe repair location still cannot qualify. We will explain the finding and replacement options; a road-hazard replacement is not included.
12.The hole is in the tread, but it is bigger than a nail hole. Is it covered?
Not as a free puncture repair if the injury is larger than 1/4 inch (6 mm). Location, internal condition and tire-maker restrictions also matter. Passing the size check alone does not guarantee that a tire is repairable.
13.There is plenty of tread in the middle, but part of the tire is at 2/32 inch. Can you repair it?
No under our repair requirements if the tire's tread is at 2/32 inch or less. An unsafe or worn-out tire does not become eligible because the puncture itself is small. Replacement is a separate purchase unless another applicable warranty provides coverage.
14.I drove several miles on the flat. Why might you refuse a simple repair?
We need to inspect the inside. Driving on a flat may leave damage that is not obvious outside. If the tire is unsafe, we cannot repair it under this program. New road damage or customer-caused run-flat damage does not include a free replacement. Suspected damage from our work needs a separate review.
15.You repaired this tire before, and now it has a different nail. Is a second repair free?
It can be, if the new injury and the entire tire still meet safe-repair requirements. A previous proper repair does not automatically make every later puncture ineligible. New road damage is separate from a failure of our earlier repair. Each visit requires inspection.
03Flat repairs: the less obvious cases
Inspection and tire-maker rules decide repairability.
16.I used a plug kit, or the new hole is right beside an old repair. Can you fix it?
An existing improper repair or a repair that would overlap another does not qualify. Tell us about prior repairs before work. We inspect the tire and follow tire-maker and industry procedures; we cannot promise to turn an unsafe prior repair into a safe one.
17.It is a run-flat tire. Is a puncture repair automatically included?
No automatic answer. The tire maker's repair policy and our internal inspection decide whether it can be repaired. If repair is permitted and all program requirements are met, the eligible in-shop repair is free. The run-flat label does not promise a free replacement.
18.I put emergency sealant in the tire. Is my entire warranty void?
Not automatically. Tell us what you used and what happened. We must inspect for repairability and follow the tire maker's rules. Damage caused by misuse is different from an unrelated covered workmanship fault. Any work outside the eligible repair is explained before you authorize it.
19.The tire is losing air through a valve, TPMS sensor or bent wheel. Is that a free flat repair?
Those are not automatically eligible puncture repairs. Parts and unrelated wheel or valve work are separate charges. If our covered installation work caused the problem, we correct that fault and include the required parts and labor at no charge.
20.My workmanship warranty expired, or my tires were bought more than two years ago. Can a flat still be repaired free?
An otherwise eligible tire can still qualify under the free in-shop flat-repair offering. The workmanship and purchased-tire care expiration dates do not, by themselves, decide puncture-repair eligibility. The tire must still be safe and meet all repair requirements. This is not a lifetime replacement guarantee.
21.A new road hazard ruined one tire on my AWD vehicle. Will you pay for all four if they need to match?
No. This program does not pay for road-hazard replacement, whether one tire or more must be replaced. We check your vehicle's tire-matching requirements and explain the options. Any separate manufacturer benefit follows its own terms; owning an AWD vehicle does not expand On-Site coverage.
22.Your sign says free passenger tire repair. Does that include my delivery car or fleet vehicle?
The free benefit in this program follows its personal-use eligibility. Commercial, fleet, taxi, rideshare and delivery use are excluded, even on passenger tires. Contact us for the applicable service quote. Passenger tire size alone does not remove the use restriction.
04When our workmanship is responsible
If our covered work caused the fault, the correction is on us.
23.My car shakes right after you install the tires. Do I have to pay to balance them again?
If inspection confirms that our balancing or installation caused the problem within the workmanship period, we correct it free. Vibration can also come from a tire defect, bent wheel or unrelated vehicle problem, so timing alone is not the final diagnosis.
24.You damaged the tire during mounting, and it cannot be safely repaired. Who buys the replacement?
For a confirmed covered workmanship fault, we do. We replace a tire damaged by our work that cannot be safely corrected with the same or a comparable tire. The required labor and parts for the covered correction are included.
25.The puncture repair you performed is leaking again. Is the correction free?
Yes, if inspection confirms a fault in our repair work during the 12-month/12,000-mile period. A new puncture or unrelated tire damage is evaluated separately. If our faulty work damaged the tire beyond safe correction, the workmanship replacement remedy applies.
26.The original flat repair was free. Do you still stand behind that repair?
Yes. Our workmanship terms cover our puncture-repair work, including an eligible repair performed at no charge. Keep the service record showing the date and mileage. The warranty covers faults in our work, not every future problem with that tire.
27.I supplied tires bought online or used tires. Is your installation work covered?
Yes, for an eligible personal-use passenger application, our invoiced tire workmanship follows the 12-month/12,000-mile terms. We are not guaranteeing the condition or remaining life of a customer-supplied tire. Installing those tires does not create the 24-month care benefit reserved for four new tires bought from us.
28.The tire leaks where it meets the wheel. Is that always your mounting mistake?
We need to inspect the cause. A fault caused by our covered mounting work is corrected free. An unrelated damaged or corroded wheel is not automatically our workmanship responsibility. We explain what we find and any proposed charges before work.
29.My TPMS light came on after service. Are you replacing the sensor for free?
If our covered installation work caused the sensor problem, required corrective parts and labor are included. An aging sensor battery, pre-existing fault or unrelated damage is not automatically covered. The light alone does not establish the cause; we inspect first.
30.The tire lost pressure because of your installation, then became damaged. Can you deny it as underinflation?
We must review what caused the pressure loss and tire damage. We do not automatically treat every low-pressure event as customer neglect. If a covered fault in our work caused damage that cannot be safely corrected, our workmanship replacement remedy applies. Unrelated causes are evaluated separately.
05Road damage, wear & manufacturer claims
A tire problem is not always an installation problem.
31.I hit a pothole or curb, and now there is a bubble or bent wheel. Is that covered?
Damage caused by the impact is not covered by this workmanship warranty or by an On-Site road-hazard replacement benefit. If the cause is uncertain, we inspect rather than assume. Do not drive on a tire you believe is unsafe; call to discuss safe arrangements.
32.My tires wore out, or they were damaged by overloading, burnouts or improper inflation. Do I get replacements?
Normal wear and damage caused by overload, misuse, neglect or improper inflation are excluded from this workmanship warranty. Tire age alone does not prove the cause. A possible manufacturer claim is reviewed under that maker's terms, and an alleged fault in our work is reviewed separately.
33.The inside edges wore out quickly. Does your warranty pay for tires and an alignment?
Not automatically. We need to understand the cause. Wear from unrelated alignment, suspension or other vehicle faults is not covered, and alignment is not included in the care benefit. If evidence points to our covered workmanship instead, we review that claim under the workmanship terms.
34.The tire says 60,000-mile warranty, but it wore out at 30,000 miles. Is the next set free?
Not necessarily. We help evaluate a claim under the tire maker's mileage warranty. Eligibility, maintenance records, wear conditions, any prorated credit and replacement charges depend on that warranty. This program adds no separate On-Site tread-life guarantee or automatic free set.
35.The tire has a bulge, separation or apparent defect within six months. Will you reject it as road damage?
No automatic rejection. We inspect the tire and review the likely cause. A manufacturing issue may qualify under the tire maker's warranty; a fault caused by our covered work follows our remedy. Impact damage is different. Do not keep driving if you believe the tire is unsafe.
36.If the manufacturer accepts my claim, will my total bill be zero?
Not necessarily. The maker's terms decide the remedy and any proration, service charges or other amounts due. We explain the proposed outcome and your charges before proceeding. A manufacturer claim is separate from our covered workmanship correction, for which required parts and labor are free.
37.I had rotations done elsewhere or cannot find every maintenance receipt. Is everything void?
Using another shop does not, by itself, void On-Site workmanship coverage. Keep any available service records. Manufacturer claims have their own documentation requirements. Missing a record does not justify an automatic denial of an unrelated On-Site workmanship issue; the relevant cause and terms still matter.
38.I do not like the tire noise, ride or traction. Can I exchange the tires for free?
This program does not include a satisfaction exchange or a change-of-mind return. If you suspect a defect or installation problem, contact us for evaluation. A separate tire-maker satisfaction offer, if one applies to your purchase, is governed by that maker's terms.
06The 24-month tire-care benefit
Care for a qualifying set of four, with clear boundaries.
39.I bought four new passenger tires from On-Site. What care is included?
For 24 months from the invoiced purchase, eligible original customers receive in-shop rotations at the recommended interval when fitment permits, plus pressure and tread checks, for the original vehicle and purchased tires. It is a care benefit, not a promise to replace worn or damaged tires.
40.I bought one or two tires, used tires, or four tires elsewhere. Do I get two years of free rotations?
Not under this benefit. It is included with a set of four new passenger tires purchased from On-Site. Eligible free in-shop flat repairs and applicable workmanship coverage are separate; not qualifying for the rotation benefit does not automatically remove those benefits.
41.Can I come in every month for a free rotation?
Included rotations follow the applicable tire or vehicle maker's recommended interval, not an automatic monthly schedule. We use the guidance appropriate to your vehicle and fitment. Call with your mileage and service history so we can determine when the next rotation is due.
42.My front and rear tires are different sizes, or the tires are directional. Can you rotate them?
Only when the fitment and maker's instructions permit a normal rotation of the mounted assemblies. We will explain which movement, if any, is appropriate. A fitment that prevents rotation does not remove the qualifying pressure and tread checks.
43.Are winter-tire changeovers, a second wheel set and seasonal storage included?
No. Seasonal changeovers and storage are excluded from this care benefit. Rotating the qualifying mounted assemblies at the recommended interval is different from changing seasonal sets or moving tires between wheels. We can quote separately requested services.
44.Does every free rotation also include an alignment and rebalancing?
No. Alignment and rebalancing unrelated to our workmanship are not included. A confirmed covered balancing fault is corrected under the workmanship warranty. Normal balancing required for a qualifying in-shop puncture repair is included as part of that repair.
45.One tire from my set is replaced or worn out before 24 months. Do I lose care on all four?
That individual tire's care benefit ends when it is replaced, retired or worn to 2/32 inch or less. The remaining qualifying purchased tires can retain their benefit for the balance of the original 24 months. A replacement does not automatically restart the two-year clock.
46.What happens when two years are up, even if the tires still look good?
The included 24-month care period ends. Any additional rotation or other service can be quoted. Eligible free in-shop flat repairs remain a separate offering, subject to repairability and program eligibility. A tire maker's remaining warranty, if any, follows its own terms.
07Mobile visits & out-of-town problems
Free in-shop care and mobile service are different benefits.
47.A nail puncture would be free at your shop. Will you repair it free in my driveway too?
The complimentary repair benefit is in-shop only. A mobile visit has travel and applicable off-site labor charges quoted before booking. The normal trip charge is $35 within 25 miles, plus $2 per additional mile beyond 25. An ordinary road-hazard visit is not a covered workmanship correction.
48.If the quoted service distance is 35 miles, is the entire job $55?
No. The travel calculation is $35 plus 10 additional miles at $2, which equals $55 for travel. Applicable off-site labor, parts and other quoted services are separate. Confirm the service distance and the full job estimate with us before booking.
49.Your installation caused the problem. Do I still pay your mobile fee to have it corrected?
For a confirmed covered workmanship fault within the warranty period, required correction is free and the applicable mobile trip charge is waived within our normal service area. Call first to arrange it. Outside that area, discuss arrangements before booking or authorizing other work.
50.Does this include free towing, 24-hour roadside rescue or a guaranteed same-day visit?
No such benefits are included. The program does not include towing or a nationwide reimbursement network, and it does not promise 24-hour dispatch or same-day service. Call to discuss availability and safe arrangements. Covered corrections are completed within a reasonable time.
51.I am out of town. Can I have any shop repair it and send you the bill?
Contact us before authorizing non-emergency warranty work elsewhere. This is not a nationwide reimbursement program. Third-party charges are covered only if agreed in advance, subject to your legal rights. If there is an emergency, prioritize safety, keep the invoice and findings, and contact us as soon as practical.
52.I live nearby, but I would rather have my free rotations done at home. Is the visit included?
No. The 24-month complimentary tire-care benefit is in-shop only. Mobile travel and off-site service are quoted separately, even if your address is close to the shop. The trip-charge waiver is for a confirmed covered workmanship correction, not routine care.
08Making a claim & getting a fair answer
Tell us what happened. We will evaluate the cause and explain the next step.
53.I lost my receipt. Will you automatically turn me away?
No. We can help look for our service records. Have your name, vehicle information, approximate service date and current mileage ready. Workmanship and purchased-tire care claims still need enough information to establish eligibility. Free eligible flat repairs do not require an On-Site tire purchase.
54.How do I start a claim, and can you guarantee coverage from a photo?
Call or text (208) 435-7389 during the coverage period. Describe the concern and provide the invoice and current mileage if available. Photos can help, but do not replace an inspection. Do not drive on a tire you believe is unsafe; call to discuss safe arrangements.
55.What if inspection finds a problem that is not covered?
We explain the finding and disclose charges outside coverage before work. An appointment is not blanket permission for paid repairs. An issue outside one benefit may still qualify under a different applicable benefit or manufacturer warranty, so the reason for the finding matters.
56.I reported the issue before coverage expired, but the inspection is scheduled afterward. Is it automatically too late?
No automatic denial based only on the appointment date. Keep the date and mileage when you contacted us. We review the timing, eligibility and cause using the warranty terms. A timely report does not establish the cause, but a later appointment alone does not resolve the claim against you.
57.A failure damaged my vehicle or involved an accident or injury. Does this FAQ decide that claim?
No. Contact us promptly and ask for management review. Preserve available invoices, photos and inspection findings without putting yourself at risk. This program describes tire-care and workmanship remedies; it does not decide responsibility for every related loss or remove rights you may have under applicable law.
58.Someone told me everything was covered for life. What should I do?
Ask us to review the statement and your purchase paperwork with you. This written program does not promise lifetime care, lifetime replacement or coverage for every type of damage. Tell management about any conflicting sales statement so it can be addressed directly rather than ignored.
59.What if I disagree with a coverage decision?
Ask for an explanation of the inspection findings and the specific warranty term involved, then request management review if needed. Manufacturer coverage is separate from On-Site coverage. A decision under this program does not eliminate any rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
60.If the website wording changes later, do I lose the warranty I bought under?
No. The terms provided with your qualifying invoice apply. Later updates do not reduce existing coverage. Keep both pages of the warranty with your invoice. This Q&A explains the version 1.0 program and does not replace the written warranty or limit your legal rights.
